Janice Kim Events focuses on weddings, corporate, and non-profit events in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. The company was founded by Janice Kim, an events and marketing professional with over 14 years of industry experience. Janice brings a personal passion for events, style, and organization to her work everyday.
Janice is a Northern California native and graduated from Brown University, after which she spent the early part of her career in New York City. She honed her skills as an event planner while working at NBC Universal in New York for eight years. While there, she was appointed to Senior Brand Development Manager for CNBC, and her daily work focused on planning and executing the cable network's off-air events platform. One of her most important events was launching the inaugural CNBC/Wall Street Journal Executive Leadership Awards-- a black tie gala dinner in New York City, recognizing the nation's top CEOs. Janice also developed her event planning prowess through a variety of corporate conferences and events, including the CNBC Washington DC Summit and the CNBC Technology Leadership Awards in San Francisco.
Before starting Janice Kim Events, Janice was a Marketing Director at General Electric in San Francisco. Janice also served as the Northern California Leader of GE's Asian Pacific American Forum. In that role, she led a team that planned a series of workshops, charity drives, and parties-- including a special dinner event with Martin Yan of Yan Can Cook fame! Independently, Janice also planned and executed the Women's Showcase In The City, a breast cancer benefit for a non-profit organization in New York.
Janice Kim Events leverages years of experience on both the client and vendor sides to bring a unique understanding of client expectations while also being able to work collaboratively with vendors to execute flawless events. Janice will ensure your events are seamless, so you can sit back and enjoy the party!
We look forward to working with you!
